Badger I FDS Full Canvas Top |

This top is the first top that we designed and produced in 1996 after looking at the other tops that Land Rover supplied for the Defender 90.
The Badger I FDS (fabric Door seals) full canvas top has fabric door seals sewn onto the top, and does not use the gutter and door seal kits as needed with the Badger I & II. The fabric door seals do a great job at keeping the water out, but not as well as the gutter kit style tops. The difference is cost savings and simplicity of installation.
The Badger I FDS is available in 5 colors and are made with automotive fabric as used on more expensive European convertibles. The zippers are a nylon type used in the marine industry. The windows are double polished vinyl and are available in 2 tints, bronze and grey. The black and grey colored tops have the grey tint windows, and the tan tops have the bronze tint windows. The 2 side windows and back window zip out completely, and can be stored in a window bag supplied with the top. Replacement windows are available if needed.
There is an option for a sunroof and blank side windows Their is not an option for alpine windows, because of the high tension on the alpine bow. No groveling either. |
